Project Overview

This credit card design won two awards (Jury and Audience) in the “K-artystyczny” contest organized by Poland’s largest bank - PKO BP. The goal was to create a new credit card design gallery from which PKO BP customers could choose.

To preserve the artwork, the cardholder information is placed on the back, ensuring an uninterrupted visual experience. My work was selected from over 9,000 entries from all over Poland and won 6,233 likes in voting for an Audience Award.

Execution

I created a dreamy design with a soft color palette to evoke positive emotions such as calmness and safety. It was especially intended for young customers who are not used to using credit cards yet and might feel stressed about making payments and performing banking operations.

Since managing your money is a very adult-like activity, I wanted the design to still feel slightly childish to reduce the seriousness.

Results

Surprisingly, the contest organizers decided to film short interviews with the winners. In the video, I had the pleasure of sharing more about my background as an electronic engineering student, the inspirations behind my design, and my desire to uplift others through art.
